Moved by the spirit of the Maasai women she met while traveling in Africa, Colette created the collection in dedication to them. Despite a language barrier and differences in culture, Colette felt connected to them without needing to speak; the uniqueness of the female experience and the power of the love they radiated was enough. The collection, crafted in 18-karat gold with layers diamonds and pearls is inspired by the values such as purity, hospitality, energy, bravery that each layer of the Maasai's own jewelry represents.
