Collection: PENACHO - HIGH JEWELRY

Heritage is not reference. It is material.

Penacho began in 2010 as Colette’s most personal collection, born from a direct connection to her Aztec origins. It was never conceived as an interpretation of heritage, but as an exploration of the structures, proportions and tensions that have remained compelling across generations.

At its centre is the feathered headdress of the Aztec warrior, one of the most architecturally intricate forms of pre Columbian design. Its power lies in the relationship between volume and precision. Fullness gathers into points. Mass becomes direction. Complexity resolves into structure.

Penacho translates this formal language into High Jewelry. The density of the feather becomes setting. The point becomes stone. The headdress becomes a construction designed to exist in close relation with the body.

The origin is not an ornament placed upon the jewel. It is the foundation from which the form develops.

Crafted in 18 karat gold and set with diamonds and exceptional gemstones, each creation is constructed with a sense of discipline and purpose. Every element has a role. Nothing is added simply to embellish the form.

There is strength in this restraint. The jewellery carries the character of the warrior through its architecture rather than through literal representation.

Penacho is an ode to origin, translated into a language of gold, stone and structure.

Heritage, made tangible.
Form, carried forward.
An origin made to endure.
