MY STORY

I have always believed that jewellery should hold meaning.

For me, jewellery has never been simply about adornment. It is about what we choose to carry with us. A memory, a place, a feeling, a symbol, or a part of who we are. The most meaningful jewels become intimate over time. They live with us, accompany us through important moments and, eventually, become part of our history.

I founded Colette Jewelry in 1995, but my fascination with gemstones began long before the Maison existed. I was drawn to natural stones from an early age, captivated by their colour, their irregularities and the extraordinary individuality of each one. No two stones are ever truly alike. I have always found that difference beautiful.

My education in design and gemology shaped the way I approach jewellery today. I learned to look at a stone not simply for its rarity or value, but for its personality. Its colour. Its proportions. The way it receives light. The small imperfections that make it unmistakably itself.

That is where my creative process begins.

I do not believe a jewel should impose itself upon a stone. I prefer to listen to what the stone is telling me and create around it. Gold becomes the structure. Craftsmanship gives it precision. The stone remains the soul.

ANIS Paloma Ring — Colette Jewelry

ANIS

 A tribute to my mother.

ANIS was created for the 30th anniversary of Colette Jewelry and is deeply personal to me. The name comes from my mother’s favourite candy, a small and intimate memory that became the name of an entire collection.

For me, ANIS is a celebration of colour, generosity and the extraordinary beauty found in nature. Each gemstone is chosen for its individual character, allowing the stones themselves to become the starting point of the design.

What began as a tribute to my mother became one of the most expressive chapters of my creative life.

A memory of my mother, transformed into colour.

GALAXIA

 My signature collection.

GALAXIA comes from my lifelong fascination with the stars, the moon and the vastness of the cosmos.

I have always looked at the night sky with a sense of wonder. Stars become points of light, moons become symbols of time, and constellations remind us that we are part of something infinitely larger than ourselves.

GALAXIA is my interpretation of that feeling. Through gold, diamonds, pearls and celestial forms, I bring the cosmos closer to the body and transform something infinite into something deeply personal.

A universe to wear.

PENACHO

 Heritage, identity and ceremonial beauty.

The PENACHO collection is inspired by the ceremonial headdress, a powerful form of adornment rooted in Mexican history and cultural identity.

I was drawn to its architecture, its verticality and its extraordinary sense of presence. Rather than reproducing the original form, I wanted to translate its spirit into contemporary jewellery.

For me, PENACHO is about heritage. It is about carrying where we come from into the present and allowing cultural memory to become something living.

A heritage carried forward.

Toi et Moi Madame Ring — Colette Jewelry

TOI ET MOI

 Two people. One bond.

TOI ET MOI is about connection.

I wanted to express the invisible bond that exists between two people, whether between lovers, friends or family. The two links represent two individuals, each with their own identity, coming together to create something that could not exist in the same way alone.

The relationship is the jewel.

It is not about defining what the bond should be. It is about celebrating the person who is there beside you, and the connection that makes two lives part of the same story.

Two lives. Two identities. One connection.

SANTOS Y CIELOS

 Protection, faith and memory.

SANTOS Y CIELOS was inspired by my father, who used to wear a necklace with a protective charm. Growing up with that symbol made me understand how a small object can carry something deeply personal.

The collection explores medals, talismans and sacred symbols as intimate expressions of protection, faith and connection.

A symbol to carry close.
