Tension is where I begin.

The Burning Thistles Necklace holds a form that resists softness — thorned, angular, alive with its own geometry. Each thistle is rendered in 18-karat gold, set with brilliant-cut diamonds that catch without announcing themselves. The chain moves; the pendants hold still. That contradiction is the piece.

Thistles have always carried two truths at once — something that protects itself and something that blooms. I am not interested in resolving that. The necklace does not resolve it either. It carries both.
