Form follows the thistle. Not as ornament, but as structure.

The Thistle Side Hair Comb takes the flower at its most architectural. Each spine carries its own tension, creating a form shaped by repetition without ever becoming a pattern.

The thistle is not interpreted here. It is translated directly into gold, preserving the geometry that gives the flower its character. Radiating forms extend from a central structure, creating a directional composition designed to follow the movement of the head.

Crafted in 18 karat gold, the comb is set with white brilliant cut diamonds along each petal spine. The diamonds trace the structure rather than soften it, bringing points of light to the sharpest edges of the form.

Grey pearls introduce a quieter luminosity, their muted surface creating contrast against the precision of the gold and diamonds. Together, the materials give the piece a sense of depth without compromising its architectural clarity.

The side comb setting is deliberate. Worn at an angle, the jewel follows the line of the head rather than sitting above it, allowing movement to become part of its expression.
